Fairhome is a registered care home providing nursing care for 27 adults with enduring mental health problems.

Within walking distance of the town centre of Wrexham, Fairhome comprises two large Victorian semi-detached properties which have been converted into one unit. The surrounding garden is maintained with the assistance of the service users.

Service users are encouraged and assisted in achieving or maintaining an independent lifestyle. This is provided by twenty-four hour support and assistance according to the assessed needs of the service user.

Each service user has their own room, choosing the decoration and furnishings according to their tastes. Our aim is to create a homely feeling for service users who are encouraged and supported to maintain contact with their relatives and friends. Due to this we operate an open door policy of visiting times.

Activities, day trips and holidays are organised on a regular basis in which all service users are encouraged to take part in. Several of our service users also retain paid and voluntary jobs in the community.

The staff team consists of a manager, deputy manager, qualified mental health nurses, care staff, cooks and domestics, and provide 24 hour care.
