Fern Lodge is a large three storey semi-detached Victorian house set in a quiet suburb of Chester, close to a main bus route and only 15 minutes walk to the historic city centre or local shops.

Fern Lodge is a registered care home, providing nursing care, and offers accommodation for 21 adults with enduring mental health problems. Service users are encouraged and assisted to develop their daily living skills and rehabilitative plans of care are implemented following an assessment of needs.

Fern Lodge promotes Vista Health Care’s values and standards by ensuring that each service user is treated with respect and dignity and are enabled to lead a normal life within their community. Staff are committed to providing quality care focused on the needs of the individuals.

There is an ongoing training programme for staff that ensures all staff receive the knowledge and support to continue providing excellent care, which is mirrored in the regularly high key note inspection scores that Fern Lodge has received.
